Dear Parents,
The final full week of school has been completed and we have continued to work hard to complete some units. The portfolio binders have been given to each of the students containing all of their tests and assignments completed throughout the year. Sorting these binders has really put things into perspective as students couldn’t believe the amount of work they had covered.
We have continued to work through some of the Math topics and, in Language, have completed the Boy Overboard story map. The information and compare/contrast presentations the students have completed this week have sparked a lot of interesting discussions which have been quite interesting.
Our end of year class party will be on Monday, June 16th. Students are welcome to bring snacks and board games to play with their classmates. There will be an age appropriate movie for them to watch, and they are able to cash in their Dojo points for extra recess on the day.
Next Tuesday, June 17th, is the last day of school and is a half day. Lunch will be at 11:40 and students are able to be picked up by 12:20. Please let us know if you need to pick up your child earlier.
A friendly reminder that the return date for students for the 2025-26 academic year is August 14th.
Thank you all for all of the support this year. It is really appreciated and I hope Grade 7 is a smooth transition for everyone!
